omg, so I'll write.

Life has been insanity lately, LoL. I just withdrew bc of my blankety blank migraines. But I'm not going back to LU. Too spendy and doesn't have what I need for classes. But it pains me to leave my girls. I really REALLY don't want to go far away from them. L'Burg has become my second home. I have Dec 31st til my lease is up. From May til then I'm gonna go to a community college here. After that I have to find a university to get my bachelor's. The only one in Virginia that has remotely what I need in different aspects is UVA in Charlottesville. There's also USC in Columbia, SC if I could get instate. That's another story. But that's five hours away. It has more of what I want/need but it is sooo far away from everyone. :( Who knows! We shall see.

Right now, believe it or not, I'm visiting my (singing) cousin (Cameron) in Charleston, SC right now. Been here since Thursday afternoon. I was planning on coming then anyway and then that morning I got an email from him saying that him and his friends had gotten into this atrocious accident the night before. I was like.. this is me GOING to see my cousin that almost died, k bye.

Basically - this drunk chick was going 70mph the WRONG way on the interstate. Came right at them, they swurved once to miss her then once to miss going off the bridge/hitting the concrete divider. It lifted off the ground, flipped twice, landed in the middle of traffic. They walked away with cuts and bruises. Y'ALL. True story.. God and his angels were all over that. Total miracle.

Anyway, I'll probably go home tomorrow or the next day. I'll just see. It's just been so crazy here with all the post-wreck stuff that it seems like I've barely had time with him. But I do plan on coming back at a (hopefully) less insane time, LoL. But I am SO glad I came when I did. Really really am. Plus I promised my Gam some pictures that I have NOT taken of here LoL. Oops.

So yeah, not too much else.. I can't rightly think right now for some reason LoL. Anyway.. ciao, ya. ;)

The Words She Knows, The Tune She Hums.

Has it been a month ALREADY? LoL... Well, lemme see. I moved in a couple weeks ago. Pretty much settled. Finished a psych intensive. Been spending lotta days, but mostly nights, with my girls (that got here early LoL). I've semi adopted/gotten joint custody of these neighbor cats... two, mainly. Tiger (real name) and Kitty/Sissy (Tiger's sister, dunno real name). They practically come in like forever and always. There's a third one but he's only been in once. He's not so house/person unshy. Anyway, it's fun! Makes living alone not so dull, hehe. Plus, I got two fancy dumbo rats. Heidi and Isaac. Yeah, she's probably pregnant right now... that'll be interesting, LoL. I haven't got my books yet for class. Need to do that. I've decided my new favorite couple is PETER AND JAMIE! LoL... they are the cutest married people EVER. We had some quality time together last week, which was nice. They just moved into a new house - their FIRST own house! :) I need to make time to go over again and help out... just needs alot of remodeling, etc. But luckily Peter is a whiz at all that and can tell us girls what to do, LoL. My phone broke. Died. All of the above. And I had no service at my house. So nooow I have Cingular and a hot new phone which I totally dig. Yay that.

OOOOH! My two cousins had their babies! One right on time, one SIX WEEKS EARLY =x But all is well! Jacob David was born to my cousin Monica and her husband Brian on 12/18 (due 12/22, yanno haha). He was 7lbs 13oz, 19" long - blonde hair, dark eyes!  . . . . .  my other cousin Trey's wife Sara had their baby on CHRISTMAS morninggggg. Reagan Emily! She wasn't due til February so that was a HUGE surprise! Complications just came up outta nowhere and they had to do a c-section, so there she was! She was born 3lbs 15oz, 17" long. She was born with black hair and dark eyes, but now it seems to have turned blonde (Trey has black hair, Sara has blonde hair). As of today she's up to 5lbs 2oz and is going home this Friday! Woo hoo! =D

So yeah, exciting stuff. My old good friend, Marilyn, from highschool - eloped a couple months ago.. now she's pregnant! About two months now, I think. Sooo yeah. Lotsa stuff.

Anyway, that's about all I got. I'll MAYBE write more before another month goes by. Until then... <3

Love Is Not A Victory March.

Gosh. I really should just RANDOMLY write in this thing. I use to. But I don't anymore. Well... let me make an attempt today!

I really only have one whole week to pack my life up - then I leave for a few days (Missouri), let them pack it all up, I come back in the morning on the 28th and leave 2 hours later for Virginia! Insanity? Yes, I think so. I think if I can pack up my CLOTHES, I'll be 10 steps ahead. So yeah. Might wanna do that. Ooooh, I can't wait to be there! :) My OWN apartment! My OWN address! My OWN stuff! Freeeeeee! LoL

Right now I have all kinda stuff to take with me - nice big table (has a leaf so it can be smaller or bigger) and chairs, a green baker's rack, a tall wooden bookshelf, a TV stand, a TV, a DVD/VHS player, a computer desk and chair, a tall standing lamp, the SECTIONAL <333, Mom's old (well from the 70s) rocking chair <3, a KING size bed (hallelujer), perhaps one of mom's or my nightstand, two wall hanging shelves, a pretty pink shower curtain, my favoritest big fuzzy rug (at the dorm), a stereo (at the dorm), lots of silverware, some dishes (yeah, the rest is at the dorm LoL), cooking stuff, pots, pans, etc... candles, decorative stuff.. lotsa pillows, blankets, comforters... I might even get the one Nanny made for my mom and dad back in the 80s!!! =D I'm buying alot of movies cheap from amazon.com (used) for MY own collection. Ooooh, 'tis grand.

AND I get highspeed internet and cable (basic) turned on the day I get there. So that's yay. And I finally got a floorplan. It's huge! A one/one nonetheless, but huge! I have soooo much space to put my CRAPPPPP! :) I can't wait.

Random thought... you know what I realized? Well, not recently. It's been a long time. I haven't thought about Chris all that much. If I do it's because something reminds me of him or something like that. And when I DO think of him, it's a pretty neutral thought. Like what happened is just fading, the feelings I had twds that and whatnot... it's crazy! You never even notice it til way later that you're over something like that. I never would believe. But I think I truly am. It's just one of those things that "happened"... it's insane what time will do. What life will do. Not just to something like that, but ALOT of things. Time is VERY powerful, you know? It heals. It changes you. Well. Not time itself. God, who rules time. HE heals and changes people... but time usually gets all the credit. ;) But anyway, that's just food for thought, right there. My words of wisdom - Time. God. Hmm.

Is it bad knowing you're not gonna miss home? Because I'm not. I never have. It'll be nice to come home and see the changes and what'll always be the same... but not that often. Of course that has nothing to do with how much I love my family. Lord knows I do. But isn't that funny? You don't know how much you can do without it until you're... without it.

I am SO excited to be getting kitties! I decided two is better than one - for them, of course. When I'm not around. Or even when I am... they need that interaction with each other for tons of stuff. And maybe they won't get so bored with me. ;) Ooooo, but the FUN at naming them! You KNOW how I am about my names. It'll be lovely. I have so many in mind. ;)

So I've realized I've puked more this past year than... probably like ten years put together. Between my gallbladder attacks, post gallbladder surgery, viruses (all 82049832 of them I contracted), etc... it's insane! I'm so USE to it by now. I apparently got a bug yesterday morning. Oh man. But I was soooo use to it. I was soooo over it, LoL. But why, I wonder? Why so much now? It's like the older I get the sicker I get. And not the good kind! If there is such a thing... er, hmm.

I wonder why I'm so intrigued by my family? Even my stepfamily. I love to know common denominators in them. Perhaps for a checklist of my own, I don't know. And I love NAMES. I love the fact that I could steal a name from a favorite relative and use it on my child - because I don't have many favorites. And I want something meaningful. But I find, mostly with dad's family, that *I* like them alot - but DADDY worshipped them. So I automatically take his word for it and think they're incredible. Maybe they are... maybe not. Why DID he love them so much? Who knows. But I trust his reasoning. I think I take after him in that - I love people for very good reasons. And I love whoever I love ALOT. So in that, he would definitely want someone named after them... a grandchild would be perfect. So perhaps it's not so much in honor of the person, but in honor of him. That's a really windy thought.

I think it's funny how you can start to "take after" someone you're not even related to. I've picked up so many habits from my stepdad. And it's weird how we can end up developing the same taste. Sometimes we think and say the same things! It flips Mom out! LoL... HOW in the world does that happen over such a short amount of time? But you know, it also follows that I really do love him. He's become more family than anybody Mom's ever dated/married since Daddy. And it hasn't even BEEN long. I seriously treat him like he's... well, not really my dad. I can't really picture him as the old dad type. He's too young acting. He doesn't treat me like a child, his child. And then not a big brother either. But a definite cross between the two. If that makes sense. But that also means how much I'll miss him. If something happens. Not like DEATH or anything, which I would of course, but other things... if they divorce, if something happens with all the court stuff. He will truly be missed. He should know I think he's wonderful, despite it all. Just wonderful. :)

I'm buying Christmas gifts for my stepbrother and stepsister. I hope I meet them one day.

I'm sending out my own Christmas cards this year. I feel old, LoL.

Did you realize you could be born in 1993 and be in highschool? Now THAT makes me feel old, LoL.

I finally have a show I'm obsessed with. HOUSE. It use to be Grey's Anatomy, which I do still watch, but the characters annoy me some LoL. Well, most anyway. House is SO much better. Who could be better than Greg? Who could be better than Greg with JESSE SPENCER playing doctor with him? Eeeexactly. Yay House, Yay Chase.

I miss NY. I wanna go back soooooooo baddddddd.

I miss my girls! I can't wait to be back in the same TOWN as them, the same friggin STATE LoL.

My migraines are REALLY getting better. REALLY. That's a first. EVER. That calls for a hallelujer, says Madea.
